Description

The ASU Gammage Auditorium, formally known as the Grady Gammage Memorial Auditorium, is a popular performing arts facility located on the Arizona State University campus in Tempe, Arizona. The Auditorium opened on September 18, 1964 with an inaugural performance from the Philadelphia Orchestra, and was designed by famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright. It currently seats about 3,000 guests. Today, the Gammage Auditorium Tempe is one of the leading venues for the performing arts--certainly in the U.S., and quite possibly the world.

The widely-renowned venue, is currently home to the PROGRESSIVE® Broadway Across America-Arizona series and the ASU Gammage Beyond series. Even when the ASU Gammage Auditorium schedule is not busy with the productions of its tenants, it is rarely quiet, often featuring an array of Broadway musicals, grand operas, theatre productions, organ recitals and other performance art modes.
